Professional knowledge and skills of our specialists and use of hi-tech software products allow us quickly and in a quality manner prepare a cargo stowage plan, taking into consideration quantity, cargo transport characteristics and properties , as well as type of the transport means involved.
A competently developed cargo stowage plan allows one to quickly make informed decisions on nomination of transport means suitable for transportation, enhance cargo distribution efficiency , calculate necessary securing devices, providing transportation safety and cargo integrity es, thus reducing transportation costs.
In compliance with Regulations VI/1.2 and VI/2 of the International Convention SOLAS-74, as amended, our organisation, upon a shipper's request, develops Information on cargo transport characteristics and properties , with necessary and sufficient cargo securing devices specified. We provide a service of development of General Cargo Information and CTU (container, open-top container, roll-trailer, flat-rack, etc.) Cargo Information to our Customers.
Author's supervision is done in order to ensure the decisions contained in the developed documentation are implemented, which is one of the principal conditions for successful realisation of any project. The main goal of author's supervision is to maximum extent ensure implementation of the project decisions needed for safe cargo loading/discharging and transportation.
Author's supervision conducted by a specialist-developer of the project is a guarantee that the project will be carried into effect promptly and to the fullest extent, irrespective of possible change of the initial data and force-majeure circumstances. We are ready to support our projects worldwide
Nowadays more and more cargoes, including bulky ones, are transported in cargo transport units (CTU) such as container, open-top container, flat-rack, roll-trailer, etc. Standard stowage and securing schemes [1, 2] have been developed for a vast number of cargoes carried in containers and other CTU (see: РД 31.11.21.18-96 Regulations for the Safe Sea Carriage of Cargoes in Containers; IMO/ILO/UNECE Code of Practice for Packing of Cargo Transport Units (CTU Code)).For the rest of cargoes such schemes have to be developed individually taking into account their transport characteristics and properties so as to comply with all conditions to be abided for the purpose of a particular transportation. The final stage is inspection of a packed CTU for compliance with the designed schemes, with formalisation of a CTU Packing Certificate. Not only do specialists of our company have long-term experience in working out of such schemes, but they actively participate in working out of national and international regulatory documents for safe cargo transportation in CTU. When necessary, we carry out research of cargo transport characteristics and properties.
Specialists of our company have long-term successful experience of development of unique bulky and heavy lift cargo transportation projects .Transportation of a BHL (bulky and heavy lift) cargo is a complex of works including several stages:
Any towing, which is not a standard procedure, is considered as a passage and requires development of a project. Specialists of LLC "TransEngineering Company" develop projects in strict compliance with applicable regulatory documentation.
Specialists of our company develop projects for towing/passage of objects:
A project of towing/passage includes:
Projects of towing/passage are developed in compliance with regulatory documentation:
Specialists of our company develop projects of loading/discharging of ships using Ro-Ro method, resorted to in case of bulky and heavy lift (BHL) cargo transportation , when it is not possible to use standard handling equipment or when such equipment is unavailable. Ro-Ro cargo operations may be carried out both afloat and when the barge is grounded onto a shore/underwater cushion, otherwise when strengthened barge structures are rested against the berth.
This kind of shipments is being recognised as an “innovation” by Russian sea-river tonnage, and every shipment is considered individually, which may incur additional time and cost expenses for the Customer.
